Stories from British Caribbean Settlers in Post War Newham Interviews

Friday 25 October, 10am to 2pm

If you are aged over 50 and came from the Caribbean to Britain, and in particular, Newham, after World War II, come along to our reminiscence day.  Along with your memories, we would like you to bring items that will help tell your story; maybe the ‘Grip’ you came with or the hat you donned to travel to this strange new place. We would like to hear about your experiences which will be recorded or filmed and then edited and kept in Newham’s Archives for future generations of residents to ‘Recognise the Past’.
