A Discussion with David Olusoga OBE: Black Lives Matter and Black British History

Thursday 1 October, 7-8pm

To launch Newham’s Black History Month programme, celebrated historian and TV personality, David Olusoga will discuss what Black Lives Matter means in the context of Black British history. The online event, hosted on Zoom, will be facilitated by award winning human rights campaigner, writer and artist, Zita Holbourne.

On 1 October Macmillan Children’s Books are releasing Black and British: A Short, Essential History for children aged 12+.  This will be available from Newham Bookshop.
